My secret to photography - multiple income streams

1) My photography - this has always been the core of my income, and remains so today. I have multiple clients, both sports and beyond

2) Agency - KLC ƒotos serves as an agency. We retain 20% over on assignments to cover operating costs. A small portion of that

3) Workshops - I lead workshops from time-to-time. My next venture is to start my own workshop!

4) Community - With kreadivs, I'm building out a community space. While I'd love to not charge at all, charging a nominal fee helps justify the operating expenses, and if I get some off the top, even better!

5) Commercialization - NILT is me capitalizing on the moment on Name Image Likeness

6) This blog - initially, this blog was just an outlet for me to post what I was up to. For a while the blog stopped entirely (I was too busy working!) then in the pandemic, I picked it back up because essentially ALL of my other income streams were put on pause. It became rather sporadic as work picked up (not to mention the two kids I brought into the world) but now I'm again finding it as a great outlet and I'd love if you supported it by clicking on affiliate links. I have no plan to paywall this blog otherwise.

I follow some more lifestyle-centric blogs like Reading My Tea Leaves and Cup of Jo.

I've also stumbled upon Shira Gil while looking for local. There are others like Amanda Goetz who I've found via X.

All inspire me to find a niche and continue writing.
