Wish I Had White Tape
Well, after my post about gray tape being the all-in-one solution... here's me backtracking. I wish I had white tape! The other day I had to take dance team photos and (for reasons I won't get into) we ended up taking them on the third floor of Haas Pavilion instead of the usual room. This area convenient has one big white wall, and considering everything is high-key white, I thought to myself, how convenient would it be to just tape my background on the wall to cover the trim. The key benefit to this would been for the group photo, which was supposed to be taken on the court but couldn't be (again, for reasons I won't get into) so instead the photo had to be taken on my background. Had I just had a giant white wall, I wouldn't have had to worry about the team going beyond my background and me needing to stamp it out. I'll just grab that remaining roll that's in my... doh Have I mentioned how much I don't like using PhotoShop? I want to spend as little time as possible manipulating photos so I can spend more time making photos. And maybe next time my location gets chanced to a big white wall, I'll be able to take advantage of it! In other news, this session was from 6pm-8pm and since I had brought my Elinchrome ONE lights for a potential on-court team photo, when I saw all the dancers were taking sunset photos from the balcony mid-season, I said, let's all get out there. I like this team photo even better!
