Athletics defeat Tigers 4-3

Headed back to O.co Coliseum for game 4 of the American League Division Series between the Oakland Athletics and the Detroit Tigers.

Rookie AJ Griffin came onto the mound for the A's

And Max Sherzer for the Tigers.

In the third, Alex Avila hit a double.

And was batted in on a single by Austin Jackson.

In the fourth, Prince Fielder hit a solo home run.

A's kept themselves alive with a Coco Crisp double in the sixth.

And also batted in on a Stephen Drew double.

That was allllmost a triple, but caught by Miguel Cabrera.

In the 8th, Omar Infante was batted in for another run.

Though Yoenis Cespedes was able to earn a walk, A's couldn't capitalize, and the MLB staff came around and handed out clubhouse passes for the Tigers postgame celebration.

But the A's weren't done as Jose Valverde came in to pitch for the Tigers.

Josh Reddick earned a single. Advanced to third on a Josh Donaldson double.

Seth Smith came up and batted them both in on a double and suddenly it was a tie game!

Then, Coco Crisp hit the single to bat in Seth Smith for the walk off 4-3 win!!! One of the most incredible comebacks I've seen!

If this isn't the summation of the A's, I don't know what is! Coming from behind and rallying for the win against all odds. Let's see if they can keep swinging tomorrow for the tiebreaker game 5!
