It's official, Shelldance Orchid Garden is my favorite wedding venues. In some ways, pretty tight (you can't position yourself for the shot behind the couple, facing their loved ones without being SUPER distracting) there are poles everywhere making it tough to get a clean shot of entire bridal party.

And the parking lot isn't exactly quaint, but can make for some baller minivan photos (their idea!)

So why is it my favorite new place to shoot weddings? The fact the ceiling is greenhouse panels that diffuse all the light SO beautifully! And the gorgeous colors of the plants in other rooms that they can escape into for some posed photos away from their guests.
