MLB: New York Yankees at Oakland Athletics Headed back to O.co Coliseum for the matchup between the New York Yankees and the Oakland Athletics.

MLB: New York Yankees at Oakland Athletics I was suuuuper excited to photograph this game. For A-Rod? Nope. For Jeter? Nope. For dog day!! There were 700+ dogs at the ballpark. Though I love what I call the dog parade when neighbors pass by my house with their dogs, this was a real dog parade around the ballpark with SO many cute dogs! AMAZING!

MLB: New York Yankees at Oakland Athletics MLB: New York Yankees at Oakland Athletics The game started out with some confusion on a dropped ball play where the call ended up as Derek Jeter forced out at third as Alex Rodriguez was pushed to second base. But for a moment, it looked like nobody knew what was going on!

MLB: New York Yankees at Oakland Athletics After Jemille Weeks got on base and then stole third, Yoenis Cespedes didn't want to leave him out there, and hit a home run to bat em both in.

MLB: New York Yankees at Oakland Athletics But Yankees weren't going to be blanked and scored 2 runs of their own. And against the Yankees 4-2 is hardly a lead.

MLB: New York Yankees at Oakland Athletics In the ninth, Nick Swisher hit a home run off of Ryan Cook, and I thought uh ohhhh.

But Cook was able to finish the inning for a 4-3 win over the Yankees!

MLB: New York Yankees at Oakland Athletics A great win for the Athletics... even Brandon Inge was left hanging on the high five intended for Brandon Moss ;-)
