I didn't so much photograph the parade as the stage area where the parade ended up for an onstage ceremony.

MLB: World Series-San Francisco Giants Victory Parade I had to be at Civic Center at 8am for an 11am parade, and 12:30pm ceremony, which turned into a 1:30pm ceremony. I was having a pity party for myself for having to wake up so early on my birthday, taking the 7am Bart train, but then I realized some of these folks had been there since 2am!!

It was fun to pretend all these fans were here to celebrate my birthday. As opposed to the Giants or Halloween. How suiting that the Giants are black and orange.

MLB: World Series-San Francisco Giants Victory Parade It was a fun celebration that welcomed the entire city and beyond to celebrate with the World Series champions as the Giants, represented by CEO Larry Baer, were given not only the key to the city, but the broom to the city in honor of them "sweeping" the Detroit Tigers.

MLB: World Series-San Francisco Giants Victory Parade And Sergio Romo touched on it even more, that the Giants are similar to this great city in the diversity of backgrounds and culture, all for one goal.

MLB: World Series-San Francisco Giants Victory Parade I was able to get home in time to celebrate my birthday/Halloween with some friends over and handing out candy to my almost 40 trick-or-treaters, the perks of living in a little home of sorts instead of a condo =)
