While I am more-or-less "self-taught" that just means I didn't have formal education in photography as I earned my degree in Economics, but Cal did offer "DeCal" classes known as Democratic Education where students design a course to teach other students. Nathan Yan taught a DeCal in photography. While I was already working for GoldenBearSports.com this was a great opportunity to learn photography from a technical side and push myself beyond sports.
