After using Olympus gear as my personal hobby camera for some years, when the O-MD E-M1 Mark II was introduced, along with the 300mm f/4, the Olympus system became a viable option for my professional work.
I joined the Olympus Visionary ambassador program in 2018 and helped launch the E-M1X in 2019.
While I mostly use canon for my professional work (because most of my paid assignments require live FTP from camera or larger file sizes) I bring the OM-3 on most of my travels. My kids use the Tough cameras, and I'll occasionally use the OM-1 Mk II for work where the priority is being light weight, weather sealed, or slightly more inconspicuous.
I still believe micro four thirds is the best system for most photography enthusiasts.
