While a seamless background is generally preferred, it's much easier about carrying a cloth background than a 9ft seamless. This was originally purchased in 2020 when I needed to do marketing photos of gymnasts and I was told they would be on top of a mat. Seamless paper on a mat was not going to be a good combo. Cloth provided more flexibility
