I finally got my hands on this beauty of a lens and it’s everything you could hope it to be. It is certainly expensive, and full disclosure, I was able to purchase it at a discount. If you are looking for a more budget-friendly lens, you’ll probably want the 100-300 f/4-5.6. I’m fortunate that most of my work is in well lit stadiums, but if you are often cover dark field sports, you’d be better served with the Panasonic 200mm f/2.8 (or a full frame system)
