I purchased two sets of these lights when I first switched to mirrorless, thinking continous light would be the way to go with EVF.
I found they had a nice use case at events when the stage is dark but I don't want to be firing a flash and distracting the group. But the fan was a little loud and the overall system rather large.

They worked ok for portraits but were not powerful enough for sports portraits in the sense that it's harder to freeze motion with continuous light.

When using for portraits, I also had some complaints that they were too bright.

Under $600 still makes them a great addition for someone just learning light where seeing light change in real-time helps. Or for portraiture of more stationary subjects.
