After returning from my adventures in Wyoming and Malibu, headed over to Buck Shaw Stadium for the matchup between the San Jose Earthquakes and Real Salt Lake.

Quakes put up the first goal, with the ever productive Chris Wondolowski.

The game got a little intense with cards being handed out everywhere, including a red card to Real Salt Lake captain Kyle Beckerman.

And Victor Bernardez lost a little blood on the play, but after a visit with the trainer and some spitting... went right back in the game.

With the second half underway and Quakes offense was coming towards the side I was sitting on, I mentioned to Chris the Quakes videographer "I wish they would score over on this side" ... well I got my wish.

With 4 goals in the second half, two by Wondo to complete the hat trick, and a clean sheet for 5-0 win, the Quakes provided a super exciting game for the sold out crowd!
