NBA: Kings defeat Mavericks 110-97
Headed back to Power Balance Pavilion for the match up between reigning NBA champs the Dallas Mavericks and the Sacramento Kings.
I gotta admit I was excited to see Dirk Nowitzki play.
As well as Cal great Jason Kidd.
And since in my past life that I'm not proud of, I used to watch Keeping up with the Kardashians, I was excited to see Lamar Odom.
Even though Isaiah Thomas who is literally more than a foot shorter than Lamar Odom (5'9"-being generous and 6'10") was able to hop up and swat away a pass to him - boom!
I was more excited to see the Kings come up with a 110-97 win.
And even MORE excited to see Drake at the game! Apparently he had a concert in Davis on the 7th, Fresno on the 8th, was off tonight, and will be at San Jose Event Center tomorrow - so he thought he'd stop by the Kings game!
Surprisingly, his posse was only 2 strong. It was kind of overwhelming to see all the cameras surround him during a timeout (not to mention post game there were literally girls doing that cry/scream thing which I thought was reserved for Twilight and Justin Beiber) but then after all the cameras left - they handed a camera to a security guard and asked him to take their picture! Otherwise, they quietly ordered nachos and enjoyed the game.
Post game - he posed with one of the Kings owners Gavin Maloof and did a great job of the look right, center, left to hit each camera - he's clearly done this before. I wonder if when he spotted me, a girl, he was thinking to himself "now she want a photo, you already know though..."
